| ACV-A

Activin A(ACVA) is a member of the TGF-β superfamily, a large family of more than 3 structurally related proteins. TGF-β superfamily cytokines play a key role in regulating tissue balance, organ development, inflammation, cell proliferation and apoptosis. In fact, it has been recognized as A multifunctional cytokine, expressed in a wide range of tissues and cells, and there is growing evidence that activin A is involved in the pathogenesis of a variety of diseases, from rheumatoid arthritis, bone disease, sepsis, inflammatory bowel disease, atherosclerosis, chronic heart failure, to certain malignancies.

The recovery of Rat ACV-A spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity
